Dorothy Churchill-Johnson passed away in 2023, but her work continues to be on exhibition and sold. The University of Santa Barbara, in the new Library extension, named the Sara Miller McCune Arts Library now has three on permanent loan works: More Evidence of Life, Aviary, and High Barrier.
